Labour dept to hold job fair in all districts from Jan 16

• The Labor Resources Department of Bihar will organize employment fairs starting January 16, 2025.
• The objective is to provide job opportunities for thousands of youths across all districts.

• The fair will feature jobs in sectors like IT, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality.
• Opportunities are available for both technical and non-technical candidates.

Government Commitment:

• Minister Santosh Kumar Singh emphasized the government’s dedication to creating jobs for Bihar’s youth.

Participating Companies:

• Leading private firms like MRF, L&T, and Taj City Centre will participate in the job fair.
• Jobs offered will pay between Rs 10,000 to Rs 30,000, catering to various skills.

Recruitment Fair Series:

• The employment fair is part of the ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ program launched in 2008-09.
• A total of 42 recruitment fairs are planned for the financial year 2024-25.

Previous Employment Data:

• In the current financial year, 43,741 youths found employment through similar initiatives.
• The government encourages eligible youths to take advantage of these upcoming fairs.

• These fairs aim to directly address the unemployment issue among youth in Bihar.
